THE STORY OF THE LAMPS
In 2020, during one of the thousands of walks around COVID-stricken New York, I came upon a Park Slope public school in the midst of clearing out their basement. There were piles of objects, posters, equipment from the 1950’s that were headed straight to the dump. I rescued about 40 reels of 16mm educational science films, digitized them, and am now in the process of turning the remaining film into lamps.
